Maxine Tappan-Bell

Bio--right after school I married and have 2 girls. My husband and I lived in Hemet for 23 years or so, I owned a dress shop in the Hemet Valley Mall for awhile and was very active in Theater groups and Ramona Pageant. In the Pageant I played Aunt Ri for 2 years, danced and understudied major parts. After my husband retired we moved to Prescott Valley, Az. for a short time. There I worked part time in Prescott. I also tole painted and had customers in Sodona , Prescott and in Jerome.  We moved back to Ca. because my Dad was ill and we wanted to be close to help out. We lived up in Running Springs until my husband died in 1999.  After that I wanted to come back here to Hemet where I have my daughter and family and friends from years ago. I felt like I came home.  I don't work anywhere now and don't want to. Now that I'm enjoying my total independence my friend ,Mary Dunn, do all kinds of things together. We love taking the day bus trips and going places on our own.
I have 6 grandchildren but no great grandchildren as yet, however one my granddaughters just got married and her sister is getting married in June.
